Last night ISES (international Special Events Society) hosted a fabulous event, with a great panel of experts on future trends in events. Here are a few notes:
Radihka Day with Weddings in Houston Magazine brought up a VERY new trend with bouquets at weddings. The new thing is to keep your colors consistent but let each bridesmaids carry a different style. Makes for some really good pictures!
Mechelle Lobpries with The Knot shared some new cake trends. A notable one- Frills and flowers are out but cool shades of colors and more organic shades of taupe and silver are in!
Amber Bell with Houston Modern Luxury Brides mentioned a new cocktail trend- Herbal Cocktails! People are mixing Asian ginger and lemon grass with different liquors to make a truly signature cocktail.
Veronika with Brides.com shared with us the newest craze in invitations, Modern Letterpress. This is something that has been around, but now we are seeing the floral and pattern impressions placed on invites.
Jennifer Schafer with Premier Bride Magazine gave us some great ideas on "branding" your wedding and events with logo/monograms all over the place and news ways to integrate them.

Margarita Tour
Trips to the Nutcracker Market coming up as well as a Texans game and a Margarita Tour!
Hey there, Haley.
This is John Lopez from Tuxedo Charters Houston. I just wanted to touch base and let you know we're doing a few events upcoming that brides-to-be may want to sample, if they're thinking of booking a luxury/VIP/party coach.
We've got trips to the Nutcracker Market coming up as well as a Texans game and a Margarita Tour. Details are at our website.
As you know, the coaches seat up to 40 very comfortably and are equipped with amenities like surround sound, DirecTV (200-plus channels), DVD, CD, MP3 connections, etc. -- and a 400 HP Cummins engine with full U.S. DOT licensing.
.
